How to Help
Every year generous individuals, families, organizations, foundations, and businesses help to make Hassenfeld a leader in treating not only the child’s illness, but the entire family.
Whether it is volunteering as a patient advocate, making an art project with a child in the playroom, reading a story, or making a donation, your help is always appreciated and brings smiles to our children’s faces.
There are many ways to get involved in the Hassenfeld Center and
help to make a difference in the lives of children, young adults, and
families living with cancer or blood disorders:
- Become a volunteer through the NYU Medical Center Volunteer Services department.
- Donate items from the Hassenfeld wish list.
- Help us by participating in one of many fundraising events such as Hassenfeld’s annual benefit evening, various walkathons, book drives, and toy drives.
Raising and caring for a child with a serious medical condition is both emotionally and financially challenging for everyone.
Your help truly makes a difference.
